For multiplayer modders
Put your multiplayer mod where friends can find it
Made a co-op or online mod for a game? Sign in with GitHub and add it. We approve your account by hand, and every mod by hand. Approved mods get a page next to the game, with your name on it, and we offer them in the launcher where we can support them, so friends can install the same version and play together.
New to this? See how to make a co-op mod first, then come back and add it here.

Questions, ideas, anything about your mods: just between you and us.
What you get
Approved mods are listed on the site, and the ones we can support are offered in the launcher, so friends install the same version and play together.
Which game, how many players, how they connect, and your stars, releases and activity, read straight from your GitHub repository.
Your mod sits on the game's page. If there are several multiplayer mods for one game, players can compare them and see which to start with.
We never copy it. Installs come from your own GitHub releases, and you keep releasing the way you do now.
How it works
- Sign in with GitHub. We only see your public profile.
- We approve your account. We check it is really you, by hand. Until then you can tell us a little about the mods you make.
- Add your mod. Pick your repository, say which game it is for, how many players it takes and how they connect.
- We check the mod and approve it. Every mod is approved by hand, every time.
- It goes live. It appears on the website, and in the launcher where we can support it. It is marked as made by you and as unverified until we have read its code.
Not made one yet? See how to make a co-op mod.
What your mod needs
- A public GitHub repository under your own name, with a README that says how to install it, how to host, and how a friend joins.
- A GitHub release with the mod's files (a zip, or the mod's file). Everyone playing together needs the same version, so tag every release. If we offer it in the launcher, it installs from a release we pinned and checked against its SHA-256 checksum.
- Soon: a small file next to your release that tells the launcher how your mod installs. Read the preview.
- No game files in the repository. Only your mod.
- Test it with real friends first, on different computers, not just two copies on one PC. Say honestly what stays in sync and what doesn't.
What signing in shares
- Only your public GitHub profile: your name, username and picture.
- No access to your repositories, code or private data, and no password. GitHub shows you this before you agree.
- You can sign out any time, and ask us on Discord to close your account.
